Nice day for a white wedding........

First of all I'd like to thank my lovely BIL for his kind comment on my last post- I appreciate it very much. Thanks Kumar!!!
Onto business! These two wedding cards are of a similar theme -Wedding cakes obviously- but are made very differently. The pink card on the left is made with PP papers and a cake cut from the Paper Doll Dress Up cart. The cake is cut from pearlised white card and decorated with tiny pink flowers from my stash and tiny self adhesive pearls. A PP sentiment and pink velvet ribbon complete the picture. One thing I'd like to mention is that when you make any accessory cuts to be used as the main component from the PDDU cart you MUST engage the real dial size button otherwise everything is cut in relation to the size of the doll on the page.If you don't do this all you get is a pile of wasted paper!!! The other card is made from the wedding collection from Dovecraft. A strip of paper was mounted onto silver mirror card and scalloped along one long edge. A smaller panel was made in the same way except that the scallops are at both ends of the panel. A piece of printed ribbon was wrapped around the card over the bottom panel and under the top one and a bow added. The cake was decoupaged (2 layers only) and added to the panel. 3 little flowers punched from silver card and embellished with tiny gems, and a sentiment cut from Stonescript at 1" completes this card.
hope you like it!!

All Loved Up!!!!

Phew !! Lots of posts today as I haven't posted since last month so here goes with the last one for today.
This card has been made with the 'Joys of the Season' and 'Accent Essentials' carts. I cut two partridges (one of them flipped) from aqua cardstock with a cream shadow. I trimmed off the little plumes on the heads of the birds and mounted them onto a blue circle with an aqua shadow, then mounted this onto a cream scalloped circle. Two panels of Papermania DP were mounted onto samesize pieces of card for strenth, wrapped with ribbon and a little bow and adhered with dimensionals onto a piece of Aqua Bazill cut slightly smaller than the base card. The circle was then adhered with silicone glue onto the panels. A couple of flowers layered up ,three hearts punched from cream card and a sentiment cut from 'Stone Script' complete the picture. The whole panel was finally stuck to the base card with DST and glittered with Glitz glitter glue (the cheap stuff £1.99). this would make a lovely Anniversary card or even a wedding card- just change the sentiment
Thanks for looking and please leave a comment if you feel like it!

Wedding shaker card

This card, which can easily be adapted for any occasion was made with the 'Accent Essential' cart. I downloaded an image from the internet and printed it onto photo paper. I made the frame plus a shadow, adhered acetate to the back of the frame and made a shaker box in the usual way. it is filled with pink and white heart shaped confetti . I covered a tent-fold card ( i just love these!) with lilac card and covered the bottom half of the card with DP from Dovecraft -I trimmed the edge with scalloped scissors- then mounted 2 strips of paper onto card to strengthen it ,wrapped ribbon around them both and mounted them over the patterned paper with large foam pads. Layered flowers from my stash and lilac rhinestones are used for decoration. Although you can't see it very well the words 'Mr & Mrs' have been adhered to the card under the panels, then glittered surprise, surprise!!.

Thanks for looking

Not just for wrapping parcels......

I made this card last week for my sister Valerie and her hubby Steve's 25th Anniversary. The beautiful image is courtesy of Clinton's Cards!! It is the most exquisite art deco wrapping paper and it comes in three designs and colours. I decoupaged the image and then mounted it onto grey and silver card keeping to the colours in the image. The background paper is PP and Cuddly Buddly (both downloads),ribbon from The Range and adhesive pearls from my local craft shop Jendenink Craftworks (who's lovely owner is my boss- or The Boss as she likes to call herself!! Hi Jennifree!!!!) Below the bow is a beautiful filigree pearlised heart shaped button (shank removed)The image has been adhered with large dimensionals. The photo isn't very clear-sorry!!!- but the background is grey swirls and the panel is roses. The wording is cut from pearl grey c/s (DCWV) using 'Stone Script' at 1 1/2" .My sister and BIL are sunning themselves in sunny Mexico at the moment.Lucky beggars!!
Thanks for looking!

This is another cute image from PP. this is Lola Rose!

I thought that the umbrella would be ideal for this card given the sentiment! The image has been coloured with Marvey pens and then cut to shape with an oval coluzzle template, then it has been mounted onto blue and yellow cardstock, trimmed with scalloped scissors. The DP is DCWV the sentiment again is PP and has been adhered with dimensionals and the flowers are probably Primas The lettering is cut from yellow cardstock with a blue shadow using the All Mixed cricut cart. at 1" ( the 'under the' is cut at 3/4" ). People who know me and my cards know that I glitter just about everything and this card is no exception!

Hope you like it! Please leave comment- I won't bite!!!!

This sweet little card is made with an image stamp from the great Pink Petticoat! The image has been mounted onto blue and pink card and then onto white card, trimmed with scalloped scissors. the image has then been mounted onto a tent-fold concertina card. the DP is DCWV the white cardstock is Bazzill, the coloured cardstock is Papermania and the ribbon is from my stash. The sentiment "A New Home!" is cut with the Cricut machine and the Stamped cartridge at 1"

Sorry about the rubbish photo!!
