Sofia, no.1 son's girlfriend, was 22 on Sunday, so I sent her this card. I used an 8" square card for the base and papers from the beautiful new First Edition pad 'Rose Garden' which are beautifully vintage and go so well with this lovely dress form. I used bookprint paper to cut a postage stamp-style frame with shadow to hold the sentiment, and adhered it to the card front with foam pads. The dress form was cut from my very favourite of all mirri card colours, gunmetal grey. I prettied it up a bit with some narrow ribbon (the ribbon hangers cut from clothing) and a small rose. I adhered it to one corner of the frame and in the opposite corner, a floral arrangement with heart shaped pin. 'Happy Birthday' was cut from gunmetal mirri and adhered flat, and 'Sofia' was cut from pink shimmer card and adhered with foam pads. a smattering of pearls completes the card.
