Easter Blessings......

I don't send Easter cards but my workshop ladies asked for a couple, so I came up with this one and a fun one which I'll show you tomorrow. I have to say that I was chuffed to bits with this card. It is so simple- my only dilemma was whether to centralise or off-set the image. As you can see I went with the off-set option. The beautiful image was cut from silver mirri with a white matt. I added an extra couple of matts- one lilac and one more silver. I embossed a piece of white cardstock with a lovely loopy ribbon folder and again matted it onto lilac and silver cardstock. The Christ image was afhered to the card front with foam tape, I added a couple of WOC lilies and a lilac rose, along with some silver die-cut foliage to the bottom left-hand corner (these can be omitted) and a computer generated 'Easter Blessings' sentiment which was double matted then adhered with foam pads below the main image. A trio of silver pearls completes the card.

I'm having a real problem with a cartridge at the moment. I've just bought the new Creative Cards cart, and I cut a few images with it and then my machine wouldn't recognise it. I tried it in another machine and still no luck. Wierd eh? I contacted the seller and she asked me to try it in my new Bug when it arrives. If I still have no luck she said that she'll replace it (after I return the faulty cart of course!) Has anyone experienced anything like this before?  I'll let you know what happens.
Thanks for dropping by!
