The eldest daughter of a couple of friends of ours had her 23rd Birthday on Boxing Day. I had some lovely decoupage sheets which were free with the Christmas edition of Creative Cardmaking, and they were ideal not just for Christmas cards but for a Winter birthday also. I teamed the pyramage image with some old freebie papers from the same mag.
The card base is an 8" square from which half of the front has been cut. The outside and inside of the card was covered with different papers. I added a 6" square of white card to the front of the card, then adhered the pyramage topper which I backed with a scalloped oval. I added various die-cut foliage and blooms and some sparkly white ribbon....
The inside of the card holds another image adhered flat, along with a sentiment, a panel with punched corners for a message, fancy corner and 'PIA' which was cut from aqua glittercard shadowed with white. 'PIA' was adhered with foam pads.
A smattering of pearls and much glitter completes the card. Carts used:
Scalloped oval- Elegant Edges
Fancy Corner- Sweethearts
PIA- Suburbia
Thanks for dropping by!
