I really like the way this card turned out..it's so soft and pretty! I used a slider base and Papermania Songbird papers. I chose the soft blue palette (there are green & russet palettes too) for this romantic card. I cut a shaped panel for the front of the card, from patterned paper shadowed with white cardstock. I added an ornate birdcage cut from white shiny card containing two little birdies cut from glittercard (one of which was flipped).A tiny pink punched heart was adhered with a foam pad between them! A floral bouquet was adhered to the top of the cage and some little blue pearls were adhered to the horizontal bars.
A scalloped oval holds the sentiment which was created with a Cri-Kit pen. The oval was then adhered to the bottom of the card with a double layer of foam pads to allow the bottom of the slider to pass underneath it. A couple of blue heart shaped pearls and a smattering of ivory pearls complete the front of the card.
A Safmat generated quote was adhered to the base of the card, revealed when the slider is pulled up.
