Elegant Fan....

Of all the cartridges I've got not one of them has a decent fan. I have the Heritage cart and you would have thought that there would have been a fan on that one, but no. I know that there are some lovely fans on Pagoda but I don't have that cart because I'm not a huge fan of Oriental. So you can imagine my delight when I received my latest cart and there was this lovely fan on it. OK, it's not very fancy but you can make it so depending upon what you cut it out of.
I used Dovecraft Pampered Pets papers for this card. I cut the fan base from silver mirri (embossed after cutting) and the top from aqua floral paper. I embossed lines on the fan and then creased it gently along the embossed lines. I also added detail with a dressmaker's wheel. The patterned portion of the fan was adhered to the silver base with foam pads. I punched a hole in the handle of the fan and threaded some narrow peach ribbon through it. The handle was then embellished with a floral arrangement and some pearl strands. The fan was then adhered to a panel with punched edge & ribbon trim. The sentiment was adhered inside a bookplate cut from patterned paper and white cardstock. The bookplate was adhered to the card front with foam pads. A smattering of pearls completes the front of the card.

The inside of the card was decorated with more patterned paper, a sentiment panel with punched edge, and a small patterned paper fan.
