Special Delivery....

I've got a couple of cute baby cards for you today. Aren't these babies the cutest things? Although they are crawling babies, I think that they look great for new baby cards. There are a couple of swaddled babies on the cart but I preferred these.
The base card is a double twisted easel, decorated with Dovecraft Back To Basics papers. A piece of cardstock slightly larger than the base of the card was punched with an MS Broderie Anglaise embossing punch, then trimmed to fit.I added patterned paper, an embossed border and sheer ribbon/bow trim.I cut the pink baby from glittercard and the blue baby from Gemstones cardstock, then both were shadowed with white. I added some glitter to the nappies and a teeny punched heart. 'Special Delivery' was cut from the same cardstock as the babies. The babies and sentiments were adhered with foam pads to scalloped square panels, one on each of the easels. The decorated panels were embellished with floral arrangements.
I created some small 'pearls' from Card Candy using the largest hole on my Cropodile. These were adhered to the cards with silicone glue. Three teeny punched hearts below the sentiments complete the cards.
Carts used:
Scalloped squares- Accent Essentials (there is a scalloped square on Celebrations- just use the blackout feature to remove the corner holes)
Babies-Car Decals
Special Delivery-Life's A Party
Thanks for dropping by today!
