I've got a stack of photos on my camera, ready to upload, of more recent cards that I've made, so I'm having to trawl through my blog cards to find something to post. I'm afraid that the cards that I'll be posting over the next few days will be oldies (for me at least!) although my ladies will probably recognise them! I made this card around Valentine's day, but to be quite honest it could be given at any time from one sweetheart to another. I haven't made a z-fold card for a while- I'm on a shaped card kick at the mo- so it was nice to see this one again. The card base is a z-fold square, and the papers are Tilda Flower Garden.
The scalloped heart was cut from white textured cardstock and topped with a plain polka dot patterned heart. A keyhole was cut from white textured cardstock to go with the silver key. The heart was finished with a floral arrangement, punched leaves and a satin bow.
The inside of the card was adorned with a smaller scalloped heart topped with an embossed plain heart and the 'key to my heart' sentiment cut from shimmer card. A trio of pearls completes the card.
Carts used:
Hearts, keyhole & key- Victorian Romance
Key to my heart- Sentimentals
Thanks for dropping by today!
