The key to my heart
Hi folks! I have a new obsession! The design of this card is really great and gives you loads of room to create in! I've seen something similar on Create & Craft and decided to have a go myself. I cut 7 1/2cms off the front of an A5 card , then covered the inside back and the front with contrasting papers. These are from The Regency Collection by Papermania. I then made a smaller card (A6) then matted it onto a piece of contrast card then stuck it to the back of the card with the hinge on the right. I decorated the front with a scalloped oval and a heart lock cut from gold mirri then embossed with a Fiskars texture plate. I also cut a key which was hung from the ribbon with a jump ring. I added layered flowers with paper roses, pearl beads & candy dots. I cut out a sentiment & adhered to the inside of the smaller card. I cut a slit in the edge of the card and adhered a punched circle as a tab to hold the card open ( you just slip the tab into the slit) I computer generated the tabs onto white card stock & the slot instructions onto Safmat (you can't see them in the photo 'cos it's on the front of the card)
Carts used:
Sentiment- Ashlyn's Alphabet
Heart padlock & Key- Sweethearts
I've made LOADS of these & I'll inflict them on you in due course!
Thanks for looking!
Heather
