Pretty pram

This card was very simple with minimal layering. I cut the pram from the New Arrival cart from silver mirri board and DP from the Nana's Nursery stack from DCWV. Brads were added to the wheels and the hood . A 5cm panel was made from 3 strips of DCWV paper, ribbon and a bow added along with a Pink Petticoat Tiny Tags sentiment. This panel and the pram were stuck on to a white panel with dimensionals. I also made one from the boys stack in exactly the same way. Supereasy!!!
Recipe as follows:
5" x 7" Tent fold card
DCWV Nana's Nursery Girl stack
Silver mirri card
Papermania pink brads
Stash ribbon
Pink Petticoat Tiny Tags
New Arrival Cricut cartridge
Accent Essentials cart ( scalloped circle behind sentiment)
I have a few prams on different carts but I think that this is the prettiest one. It has a kind on vintage look to it, as though it should be pushed by a Norland Nanny!!!!
Thanks for looking!

Happy Anniversary!

I made this card for my brother and SIL for their 7th wedding Anniversary which was on Saturday.
The colours look a bit weak but it is actually a lovely dusky pink combo. I can't tell you how many times I made this card then chucked it! I just couldn't seem to get it right ( we've all been there right?!) I was following a sketch but it just wasn't working for me so I chucked that as well!
Then it all came together. The heart was cut three times from George -twice in card and once in spotty paper. These layers were then stuck together (this gives you a solidity akin to chipboard) and scuffed to give a weathered look. A layered flower was added ( brown, pink & cream layers to pick out the colours in the ribbon)
The 'seven' panel was cut from the Graphically Speaking cart and trimmed to fit. The ribbon is patterned with little flowers in shades of cream, coffee and pink. A Safmat greeting and gem stones complete the card.
Recipe as follows:
5" x 7" tent fold card
Doodlebug embossed paper
Spotty paper from Pink Petticoat
Bazill cardstock
Prima flowers
Papermania gems & pearl brads
Safmat from Letraset
George & Basic Shapes and Graphically Speaking Cricut carts
Thanks for stopping by!!

Just 4 you!!!

This card was made with new Graphically Speaking cart.I had waited sooo long for this cart and I nearly took the hands off the poor DHL guy when he delivered it to the shop- he couldn't get out of the shop quick enough!!! This cart is lovely. It has loads of phrases to cut along with icons to go with each phrase. This card was made for our niece Tara who is studying medicine in Melbourne. I cut the Just 4 you phrase twice in contrasting colours, chopped them about a bit and then reconstructed them to give a 2 tone effect. It was then layered onto a panel . A '4' was cut from patterned paper and a rub on adde to spell 'Tara' Before I stuck the blue layer to the pink I passed the phrases through a Xyron and then added ultrafine glitter. A flower, pearl brad and ribbon finish it!
Recipe a s follows:
Tent fold card - 7" x 5"
Designer paper
Bazill cardstock
Prima flowers
Papermania brads
Stash ribbon
Graphically Speaking Cricut cart.
Ultrafine glitter
Making Memories Heidi rubons
Hope you like it!

Trick or treat?!!!!

I had a blast making this little combo. This is a little Halloween favour box made with the Bags,Tags & Boxes cart. and some fabbo paper by My Mind's Eye The outside is decorated very simply with DP and a tile cut from the Makin' the grade cart. It comes into it's own when opened...BOO!!!!!! I added ric rac around the box and a super spidey and his web over the acetate window. Boo! was cut from Makin' the grade with an orange shadow, then I stuck them onto black card so that they were touching and cut around the whole thing by hand- sorry, I can't be doing with the Design Studio! It's too much of a faff! Then I stuck it onto the inside of the lid. The card was made with much the same elements, web, spidey etc with the exception of the sentiment which says ' A hauntin' we will GO!' I used a smaller strip of DP with some paper from Pink Petticoat (black dots printed onto orange paper) which was mounted onto black paper. I know that we don't do Halloween like our American cousins but there are so many damn cute images on the Paper Doll cart that I couldn't resist!!!! Hope you like them!!!
Heather
Recipe as follows:
Card- 7x5 tent fold
Paper- My Mind's Eye & Pink Petticoat
Orange card- local craft shop (JDI)
Acetate- as above
Ribbon- from my stash (you can't see it in the photo but there are bats & witches on it!)
Ric Rac- local Haberdashery
Lettering & tiles- Makin' The Grade
Spider & Web- Paper Doll Dress Up (with RDS button ON)
Brads (in tiles)- Papermania
Black gems( bottom right of card)- Papermania
These little boxes can be made for any occasions e.g Weddings,Birthday Party Bags and can be made really different just by changing the colour of the card and the trimmings. My idea of heaven would be to have pile of these filled with Haribo foamy jelly sweeties!!!
BTW I cut the box on my expression at 6 1/2" This gives you a relly good sized box.

This was a card that I made in a bit of a rush for no2 son to give to a schoolfriend to who's party he had been invited! I used a layout from a card posted on a blog but I can't remeber who's it was!If you recognise it please let me know and I will accredit you!!!

Christening Day

These cards were unbelievably easy to make. My ladies will recognise this cross, as they made something very similar in one of my workshops. The cross is cut from silver mirri card and laid over a very simple background of a paper strip and velvet ribbon. Although they are aimed at babies they could be made for an adult too just by changing the backing paper, maybe a script or damask print paper.
Recipe as follows:
Card- 7x5" tent fold
Backing paper- DCWV
Ribbon- from my stash
Brads- Papermania
Cross- Wedding Solutions cart, cut in silver mirri with contrast cut at same size with blackout enabled. Silver cross is raised on foam pads on top of contrast cross.
Baptism- All Mixed Up
We also made this cross as a topper for a Sympathy card but used smoky grey cardstock for backing the cross and added an artificial Calla lily behind the bow.
Hope you like it!

Sorry about the strange position of the pink card but the 'O' had fallen off the 'On' and I can't find it!!!!
