Happy Bank Holiday everyone! Now, I'm not overly fond of butterflies as an embellishment on a card but when I saw this paper from the DCWV Spring Stack, it was so brightly coloured that I thought I'd have a go with it! I used this very simple layout that I've used before using 2 designs of paper matted & layered on top of a panel of Doodlebug embossed paper. I cut & glittered a scalloped oval frame and added a layered flower with ribbon bow and a Papermania velvet brad in the middle. I wanted to add something else to the frame so I cut out 2 butterflies from scrap patterned paper, creased them down the middle & arranged them either side of the flower. I added 3 gems to the top right-hand corner of the white panel and some glitter to the edge of the butterflies wings. I added a sentiment & decorative strip to the inside.Carts used:
