Sweet Baby Girl!

I reaaaaaally love this card! It was made with the Graphically Speaking cart . The 'G' circle was cut from Bazzil c/s and chalked around all the edges. The scalloped circle was cut from DCWV glittered paper. The pink scalloped panel was cut with Fiskars cloud scissors and embellished with tiny pearls from Lakeland and flowered ribbon. The 'irl' was cut from white c/s as was the 'sweet' sentiment rectangle above the circle. It is SOOO glittered that you cannot make it out on the photo!! The white flower is from Papermani and the other flowers are Prima. The brad in the centre of the flower is Papermania too. Three pearls under the 'irl' finish of the card. Hope you like it!

Happily Ever After!

I made this very simple wedding card using the Happily Ever After Cart. As you can see it is very simple and quite minimalist. The silhouette of Sleeping Beauty and the prince was cut from black card with the blackout enabled and layered onto an embossed paper heart with scalloped shadow. The sentiment came from the same from cart. Some lovely black and white sheer ribbon finishes the card. The embossed paper is from Doodlebug. What do you think about using black & white for wedding cards? I think it's classy but I know some don't like using black for a supposedly joyous occassion. Let me know what you think.

Topiary Tree

I really like the way this card turned out (I only wish the pic was a bit clearer!) This lovely little tree is one of two topiary trees from the Joys Of The Season cart. I cut the tree 3 times once in brown, once in green and once in red. I chopped bits off each tree leaving the brown one intact and layered up the tree and pot. I used a punch which was a magazine freebie for the little flowers and some peel offs (yes you did hear correctly!) to decorate the tub. The tree was then matted and layered on some red dotty Doodlebug paper and green and red card. The sentiment 'We wish you a Merry Christmas' is computer generated onto Safmat. The paper is DCWV (I think!). The join in the paper is covered by a piece of gros-grain printed ribbon and a knotted bow. The centre of the flowers have a little dot of red Stickles to add a little sparkle. I also did this card with red flowers on the tree, but it could be used at any time of the year with different coloured flowers and a different sentiment. I think it would make a lovely Mother's Day card. What do you think?
