Hubby and I celebrated our 23rd wedding anniversary on Sunday. We don't go over the top celebrating, we just buy wine, choccies, flowers and sometimes go for a meal. This time we went to the flicks to see Les Mis. It's an amazing film and who thought Anne Hathaway could sing ?! She gave SuBo a run for her money! What little screen time she had she totally owned and sang with such feeling. By the end of the film there was hardly a dry eye in the house. Now I want to see the stage show! Go see it if you have the chance.
On to my card. I made this 8x8 square using paper from Dovecraft's Art Deco A4 pack and a 6x6 piece of script paper from my stash. Both panels were matted onto burgundy cardstock, and the central panel was adhered with foam tape. The bottle was cut from burgundy pearlised card and I added a hand-cut label. The wine glasses were cut from silver mirri . The bottle and glasses were adhered with foam pads. The sentiment was cut from burgundy cardstock and adhered flat. The rose stem was hand cut with punched leaves, and I added a small rose head. Burgundy pearls in opposing corners completes the card.
Carts used:
Bottle- Suburbia
Glasses- French Manor
Sentiment- Sophisticated
Thanks for dropping by!
I've got something a little saucy for you tomorrow!
