Baby rattles.....

Free papers come in really handy sometimes! I have a folder full of free papers from mags and I decided to use some up the other day and these papers were ideal for a couple of funky baby cards. I covered the front of the card with matted circle print paper and added a stripy, punched, ribbon wrapped border. I cut a scalloped oval from coloured card and added a cream plain oval on the blue card(white looked too stark but was ok on the pink card) adhered with foam pads. The rattle was cut from silver mirri (on the cart it doesn't have a solid centre) and I added a glittercard circle with some tiny punched hearts. The rattle was adhered to the oval with foam pads. The sentiments were cut from glittercard shadowed with coloured card. A few pearls on the oval finish the front of the card. The inside was decorated with a punched, stripey border & a heart decorated scalloped oval.
Carts used:
Scalloped oval- Storybook
Plain oval-George
Rattle & sentiment-Stamping Solutions
Circle on rattle-Winter Woodland.
You may have noticed that I use Winter Woodland a lot for plain circles. The reason for this is that I have found that my Expression cuts the circles ever so slightly wonky and they aren't true circles. Winter Wooodland cuts them perfectly every time!
Thanks for looking!
