Just before Christmas, Krishnan (no.1 son) was offered a job in the legal department of The London Legacy Company, the company overseeing the sale and future of the Olympic Park and it's associated venues. We were really chuffed for him as he'd secured a job previously that turned out to be a scam! But this one is legit and to say that he's loving it is an understatement! I made him this card to wish him luck. I wanted a city skyline, unfortunately this is not a London one, but New York will do! I cut the skyline from newsprint paper (a Pink Petticoat download) but stopped the cut part way through so that the I was left with a full page piece of paper rather than a 'border' effect. I trimmed it to fit the front of a C5 card and adhered it to a piece of grey cardstock, then matted it with black. The city gent was cut from black and white cardstock and adhered to the card with foam pads. 'A New Job' was cut from more PP paper, this time a negative print, shadowed with black cardstock then adhered with more foam pads. 'Good Luck' was cut from black cardstock and adhered in the grey space at the top of the card.
Carts used:
City skyline- Plantin Schoolbook
City gent- Suburbia
A New Job- Opposites Attract
Good Luck- Tags, Bag, Boxes & More 2
Thanks for dropping by today!
