Scrubbing and cleaning.......

Crikey, this is an old card! I made it for a workshop and would you believe I bought a cartridge especially to make it! Have you ever done that? I'd seen a card whilst blog hopping, with a stamped rocking chair and the 'scrubbing and cleaning' verse on it. I thought that I could make a Cricut based card but didn't have a rocking chair cut, so I went on the My Cut Search site and found one on the Kate's ABC cart- so I bought it! I've always loved the verse, in fact I made a sampler many moons ago BEFORE I had my kids with that very verse on it. It goes like this:
Scrubbing and cleaning can wait 'til tomorrow
For babies grow up, we've learned to our sorrow
So quiet down cobwebs, dust go to sleep
I'm rocking my baby, and babies don't keep
How lovely is that?  For the card base I made a C5 double Z-fold, with the front panel being narrower than the others. The papers are from my stash. The rocker was cut from shimmer cardstock and adhered inside a frame, that was decorated with punched and WOC blooms and a polka dot bow. The frame was adhered to the centre panel. A shaped panel, the same shape as the frame, was adhered to the inside back of the card and holds the computer generated verse, and some punched flowers with pearl centres.

The narrowest panel was adorned with a double punched strip of cardstock trimmed with polka dot ribbon and a bow. A small shaped panel holding the 'Little One' sentiment was adhered with foam pads below the bow. A smattering of pearls completes the card.
