Groovy Chick......

You'll need sunspecs for this post!...Boy is it bright! I picked up a couple of DCWV
12 x 12 cardstock packs on sale at The Range last week and used one of them to make this card. I used a twister easel for the base ( a single one this time made from a 6 x 6 card) and papers that were freebies yonks ago. I cut the funky mini dress twice- once in silver mirri (to get the hanger) and once again in paper. The paper dress was then adhered to the mirri base. The top portion of the card was decorated with a floral paper and the bottom portion was decorated with plain cardstock with an embossed square panel. A punched border with ribbon trim was adhered to the base of the card. Another embossed panel was adhered to the top portion of the card, and the dress adhered to it with foam pads. The 'Groovy chick' circle was cut from green cardstock layered onto blue. 'Groovy' was cut from pink cardstock and adhered above the 'chick' sentiment. The completed circle was adhered with foam pads to the puunched border. Three pink daisies, adhered with silicone glue, complete the card.
Carts used:
Dress, Chick sentiment & 'Groovy'- Groovy Times
Blue circle beneath Chick sentiment- Winter Woodland
You may have noticed that I tend to use Winter Woodland for my circles rather than George. The reason for this is that I have found that George does not always cut a perfect circle whereas WW does.
Thanks for dropping by today!
