I made this card yesterday with the new Life Is A Beach cart, it's for a friend of my youngest who loves fish! I don't often use the card feature where it is available but this card fitted the bill and I thought I'd give it go. It get's a bit complicated when you want to add layers- you have to do a few cuts to get the right fit- but it's worth it! I cut the card at 6 1/2" and the layered fish at 4 1/2". I used irridescent paper in 3 colours and just swapped the pieces around for each fish. I glittered the bubbles and added googly eyes to the fish. I cut out a frame from water effect paper and edged it with wavy scissors. I cut the sentiment and went around each letter with a dressmakers wheel, then adhered each letter with foam pads. A piece of blue vellum covers the aperture from behind (I covered the raw edges with silver peel-of borders to neaten) A square of water paper matted on silver and the recipient's name (it's actually Lazarus!) complete the card!
Cart used:
Card base, layers & sentiments- Life Is A Beach (square card feature)
Thanks for looking!
